Supercharge your AI agent with 62 SEO, research and marketing tools
In a few clicks, Claude, ChatGPT or Codex can pull live keyword volumes, competitor rankings and backlinks, and create brand-aware, optimised articles using KoalaWriter. Link your Google Search Console and Google Analytics properties in Brand DNA to give your assistant access to your own search and traffic data.
In beta: available to Professional plans and above that have joined the beta. No API key, and 23 of the 62 tools are free to use.
Works with Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and anything else that speaks MCP. No API key.

Research and writing workflows
Eight jobs that used to need a dashboard, an export and a prompt doc, done in the assistant you already have open.
Write something that sounds like you
“Write a post about our winter service special.”
It reads your knowledge base and writing voice before drafting, checks the topic against pages you already have, and queues the article through KoalaWriter with internal links and images. You review a draft instead of rewriting a generic one.
get_brand_profileget_brand_knowledgecheck_keyword_coveragecreate_article_in_koala_writerFind what slipped this month
“Which pages lost clicks since last month, and why?”
Your real Search Console numbers, not an estimate from a third-party index. It compares the periods, then looks at what now outranks you on the queries that fell. No exports and no dashboard tab.
get_gsc_search_performanceget_gsc_top_queriesget_gsc_page_performancesearch_google_serpTear down a competitor
“Why is competitor.com beating us, and what do I do about it?”
Rankings for both domains, the keyword gap between them, which of their pages earn the traffic, and which domains link to them and not to you. Your agent reasons over all of it in one session and comes back with a plan, not a CSV.
get_ranking_keywordsget_keyword_gapget_estimated_top_pagesget_backlink_gapDecide what to write next
“What should we publish in October?”
Your assistant uses your business context, keyword data and existing pages to choose topics. It checks the calendar, then schedules the ones you approve. You can ask it to revise, reschedule or remove articles before writing starts. Autopilot execution requires a plan that includes it.
get_related_keywordscheck_keyword_coveragelist_article_tasksschedule_articlesupdate_scheduled_articlesremove_scheduled_articlesAudit a prospect before the call
“Run the numbers on this domain before I pitch them tomorrow.”
Traffic estimate, authority, what they rank for, where they are losing, and whether sampled Google AI Overviews cite them. An agency can work a prospect list in the time it used to take to log into three tools for one of them.
get_traffic_overviewget_domain_authorityget_ranking_keywordsget_google_ai_overview_presenceRescue a page that stalled
“This post has sat at position 12 for six months. Fix it.”
It pulls the queries the page nearly ranks for, confirms Google has it indexed, reads what the current top results actually cover, and rewrites against the gap. Then it can ask Google to recrawl.
get_gsc_page_performanceget_page_contentsearch_google_serprequest_indexingFind links worth chasing
“Who links to my three closest competitors but not to me?”
The full referring-domain profile for any site, anchor text distribution, and the gap between their link profile and yours. Your agent produces the outreach list and can draft the emails against each site's actual content.
get_referring_domainsget_backlink_gapget_anchor_textsget_page_contentCheck whether AI search knows you exist
“Does Google cite us in AI Overviews for our category?”
Check whether Google AI Overviews cite your site for a query, compare competitor citations, assess page citation readiness, and check whether your robots file allows AI crawlers.

In clients that support MCP prompts, choose research_topic to assess a topic or plan_content to plan your next articles. These prompts guide your assistant through keyword research, coverage checks and planning using the tools above. Loading a prompt costs no credits; the tools it calls carry their usual costs.

Who it is for
Agencies
Research competitors, find content gaps and create articles for each client from one conversation. Use each client's Brand DNA to keep their business details and writing voice distinct.
In-house SEO
Investigate traffic drops with your own Search Console and Analytics data, compare competitor rankings, and turn the findings into content briefs and updates to existing articles.
Marketers
Find topics your audience searches for, check what your site already covers, and create articles that use your brand's knowledge and voice. Review the content plan, then ask your assistant to schedule the articles you approve.
Solo founders
Work directly in your code and manage your marketing with the same AI agent. Go from shipping a feature to researching demand, creating an article and checking search performance without leaving Claude Code, Cursor or Codex.
Why generic AI writing reads generic
It invents your business
Ask any assistant to write for your company and it guesses. Wrong services, invented guarantees, a tone nobody at your company uses. You spend the time you saved fixing it.
It cannot see search data
It has no idea what you rank for, what your competitors own, or whether you published something on this exact topic last spring. So it suggests topics you already cover and keywords you cannot win.
It guesses at your traffic
Third-party estimates are the best a generic tool can manage. Koala AI holds your Google grant, so your assistant reads the actual clicks, impressions and positions from your own property.
Brand DNA gives your assistant your business profile, writing voice and content calendar. Link your Google Search Console and Google Analytics properties in Brand DNA to bring your own search and traffic data into the same conversation.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Where do queued articles go, and how long do they take?
- Open Article Queue in Koala AI to see progress and adjust your concurrency limit. Articles are written one at a time by default. The bulk writer, API and MCP share your queue, so other waiting articles can make completion take much longer than the few minutes needed to write an individual article once it starts. Increase concurrency on the Article Queue page if you want more articles written at once.
- How does Brand DNA improve my results?
- Brand DNA gives your assistant your business context, writing voice and content preferences so it can create brand-aware, optimised articles using KoalaWriter. Link your Google Search Console and Google Analytics properties in Brand DNA to let your assistant use your own search and traffic data too.
- What can I do with it?
- Your AI assistant gains 62 Koala AI tools it can call by itself: 36 for SEO data about anyone on the web, and 26 for your own business, including your Search Console and Analytics. You keep working in Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as normal and it calls what it needs.
- How do I connect it?
- Follow the setup tab for your AI tool: add the MCP URL using its command or configuration, then authorize in your browser and choose capabilities. You do not need to copy an API key.
- Can it read my own Search Console and Analytics?
- Yes. Link your Google Search Console and Google Analytics properties in Brand DNA, then authorize access when connecting the MCP. Your assistant can then pull clicks, impressions and average position by query and by page, plus traffic sources, audience and indexing status. Those eleven tools cost no credits, since it is your own data.
- What does it cost?
- 23 of the 62 tools cost no platform credits. Data tools bill per call, from 0.1 credits for a raw page fetch to 4 for historical traffic; most keyword and competitor lookups are 1, and backlink lookups 2. Keyword ideas and variations cost 1 credit per seed keyword. Standalone images cost 1 credit for fast or 8 for quality. Text and image generation in KoalaWriter use your word allowance. There is no daily research-call limit. Request rate limits apply, including to free tools.
- Do I need a paid plan?
- Yes. During the beta the MCP needs a Professional plan or higher plus the beta opt-in on your Beta page, and it uses the plan's credits and word allowance. Free accounts can read the tool list but cannot connect an app. Individual features, such as Autopilot, still depend on your plan.
- Will all these tools fill up my context window?
- Choose the capability groups you need during approval. Keywords plus backlinks includes 13 tools. The approval screen measures the selected tool definitions, including which tools your account can use. Actual model and client context usage varies.
- I manage several brands. Will it use the right one?
- Brand tools accept a brand ID. Ask your assistant to list the available brands and specify which one you want it to work on. When only one brand is available, it is selected automatically.
- Can I change what it can do after connecting?
- Yes, from Connected apps on your account page. Tick or untick any capability and save; the app picks it up when it next starts a session. You never have to disconnect and reconnect, or add a second URL.
- Where does the data come from?
- The same places Koala AI's own SEO agent gets it: the keyword, ranking and backlink index behind the agent, live Google results fetched at the moment you ask, and your own Google properties for the Search Console and Analytics tools. These are the identical tools the agent runs, not a trimmed-down copy.
- Does it work with agents I build myself?
- Yes. It is a standard MCP over HTTP with OAuth 2.1, dynamic client registration and PKCE, so anything that speaks the protocol can connect, including your own code.
- How is this different from the Koala AI API?
- The API is for software you build yourself. This is for AI tools you already use, and it carries your brand context and your Google connection, which the API does not.
Bring your brand into every article
Koala AI reads your website and builds your brand profile in about twenty seconds. Your connected assistant can then read that context and apply it when you ask for brand-aware writing.
