SEO Automation Software: Plan, Write, and Publish on Autopilot

Koala AI automates the SEO work that repeats every week: keyword research from your own Search Console data, article drafts in your voice, internal links, schema, and publishing to your CMS, on a schedule you set.

SEO automation software promises to take the repeating work off your desk. Most of it automates one slice: a report, an audit, a rewrite. Koala AI automates the slice that fills a calendar. The SEO agent decides what to publish from your own search data, KoalaWriter writes it with internal links in place, and the article lands in your CMS.

What SEO automation means here

Products that call themselves SEO automation fall into two groups. Workflow builders such as Gumloop, Make and n8n give you blocks and let you wire the process yourself, which works if you enjoy maintaining the wiring. On-page tools such as Alli AI and SEOcrawl change or monitor pages you already have. Koala AI covers the third job, the one that produces new pages: finding what to publish, writing it, linking it and publishing it, from data that belongs to you.

What runs on its own

  • Research. On the cadence you set, the agent re-reads your Search Console and Analytics, checks live keyword volumes and competitor rankings, and picks striking-distance keywords and gaps competitors already rank for.
  • Planning. The picks land on your content calendar with a target keyword, an angle and a date.
  • Writing. KoalaWriter drafts each piece from the brief and your Brand DNA, with Deep Research pulling sources.
  • Links and schema. KoalaWriter links each new article to your existing pages as it writes. KoalaLinks, the sitewide tool, keeps older pages linked and adds entity schema across the site.
  • Publishing. The finished article goes to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow or Ghost through the connected integration.

What waits for you

The calendar. You approve or edit the topics before anything is written, and each draft waits for review unless you turn on Content Calendar Autopilot. Autopilot publishes approved items on schedule and pauses when you switch it off, so the amount of automation is a setting you control, from planning only to a calendar that runs itself.

Where the workflow builders stop

Gumloop, Make and n8n are good at connecting tools you already pay for, and a capable operator can assemble an SEO pipeline in them. The pipeline still needs a keyword source, a writer, a linking step and a CMS connector, each with its own subscription, and it breaks when any of them changes. Alli AI and SEOcrawl are strong at the pages you already have: titles, tags, monitoring, bulk edits. Neither group starts from your Search Console data to decide what new page to write next. Koala AI does that in one subscription with nothing to wire.

Pricing

Brand DNA runs on Professional at $49 a month with 50 agent messages a cycle, which covers planning and on-request drafting. Boost at $99 a month includes the full Brand DNA experience: complete knowledge base, an uncapped agent, and Content Calendar Autopilot. Both include KoalaWriter, KoalaChat, KoalaImages, KoalaLinks and KoalaMagnets. See pricing for the multi-brand tiers.

Is SEO automation safe for rankings?

Automation is safe when the inputs are real and a person approves the calendar. The risk with generic automation is publishing pages that answer nothing your audience asked. Because the agent starts from queries your site already shows for and gaps competitors already rank for, each article has a measured reason to exist, and KoalaWriter drafts it with sources.

Can I automate only part of it?

Yes. Leave Content Calendar Autopilot off and use the agent for planning, with KoalaWriter drafting on request. Or run Internal Linking Autopilot alone for links and schema on content you write elsewhere.

Does it work with my CMS?

WordPress, Shopify, Webflow and Ghost publish directly. Anything else takes the article through webhooks or the API, which are included on paid plans.
